ROLAND D. "CHIP" WALLER, a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer, maintains offices at 5332 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida. Mr. Waller graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1968 with a B.S. in accounting and obtained his J.D. degree from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 1971. He became a member of The Florida Bar in 1971 and has practiced in New Port Richey since November of that year. Mr. Waller's practice includes the drafting of wills, handling estates, preparation and administration of trusts, the establishment of corporations and other business organizations, and real estate litigation with a primary emphasis on mortgage foreclosure representing various banking institutions as well as individuals. Mr. Waller served as Chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar in 1993-1994. He has served on the Executive Council since 1974 as Treasurer, Chair of the Liaison with Title Insurers Committee and Director of the Real Property Division. Chip served as the Chairman of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Las Section of the Florida Bar Association in 1993-1994, and as Director of the Real Property Division of the Section since July 1, 1990. He has served on the Executive Council since 1974, and was the treasurer from 1985 to 1990. He was Chairman of the Liaison With Title Insurers Committee and the Seminar Coordinator and representative on the Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Real Property, Probate and Trust Las Section. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Legal Education Association and Florida Lawyer’s Support Services, Inc.
An accomplished triathlete, Chip regularly competes in triathlons, including the prestigious Ironman Triathlon World Championship. He believes his personal achievements are an indispensable contribution to his professional success. He and his wife, Pat, encourage their three children to strive for physical excellence as an integral part of their scholastic pursuits. |
